On a purple background, a black, gray, and tan striped cat rests. Its eyes look of the canvas, connecting to someone beyond the bounds of the painting. The cat is embraced by a large, pink amputee arm. The shading seems to indicate that a light comes from the cat, and the affect of the image is generally calm and welcoming.
